Content Repurposer ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Collect

The Extension collects and stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Your Gemini API key (stored in Chrome's local storage, never transmitted to our servers)
• Daily usage count (to enforce free tier limits, stored locally)
• Your preferences (tone, language, selected platforms)

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, etc.)
• We do not track your browsing history
• We do not collect or store the content you input or generate
• We do not use analytics or tracking scripts
• We do not sell any data to third parties

Third-Party Services

The Extension sends your input content to the Google Gemini API for processing. This is done directly from your browser using your own API key. We do not proxy, intercept, or store this data. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by their API: Google AI Terms.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. No data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Your Rights

• You can delete all stored data by removing the Extension from Chrome
• You can revoke your Gemini API key at any time through Google AI Studio
• You can view your stored data via Chrome's developer tools

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
